W.T.Ch Trailfinder Endearing by Floralis handled by Mr Alan Taylor and Mr/Mrs I Sayles

W.T.Ch Cilgwri Uncanny Keano handled by Mr Ian Sayles. The judge was Mr Oliver Langdale assisted by Mrs Pearl Tickell. Scenting conditions were poor, a very cold day, the land was standing in water. Both hounds put up a valiant effort, sadly the Marlwood Beaker was not awarded. Our judge Mr Oliver Langdale the son of the late Arthur and Daphne Langdale of the famous Easebourne affix (Mrs D Langdale was once Hon Sec to the ABB), they also bred and owned Dual Champion Easebourne Tarquin. Miss Gilly Oldfield was also present, her late mother Mrs R.A.Oldfield had the Wuthering affix and owned Ch Dasher of Brighton, also present was Mr Tim Unwin, who's late father Mr Wilfred Unwin kept many Bloodhounds including Ch Porthos, and whom also had connections with the ABB. At the end of the day we gathered at Heath Hill for a sumptious tea, provided by Julia Allen and Jane, Mr Oliver Langdale gave a detailed account of the days hunting, a most befitting end to a well organised day.
